I know this name makes some of you excited. What a game it was! In 1993, a legend video game console, Amiga, was very popular. Everybody was buying Amiga instead of Commodore 64. One day, I bought a magazine about Commodore 64. While turning the pages rapidly, my eyes was caught by a game named "Moonstone". I started to read excitedly and thought it was an interesting game. Next day, I bought the game, fortunately. Why? Let's get back 13 years before and review the game.

MODERN COMBAT 4: Zero Hour Review

As the processor capacities of mobile devices are improved, we are able to play FPS games on those devices. But because of some controlling issues, there is still not a quality FPS game. Modern Combat 4 is also not a high quality FPS... You are able to put the control buttons wherever you want on the screen but unfortunately, we have only two thumbs to push that buttons. Also we need to use our thumbs to hold the device, to walk and for the camera, so controlling the character is not easy. I spent my first hours to make the game's controls better. And I think I have found the best option: Use the motion sensor and play it standing up. It can make you feel like playing a "virtual reality" game.

A friend of mine warned me about the first Temple Run game. I didn't care about his warning and started the game. After minutes, I was playing Temple Run on my iPhone and saying "Help me, I can't stop playing!". After days of playing, I unlocked everything but that was still not enough. I had played it until I ruined my phone.. And two days ago, some great news(also worrying) came out. Temple Run 2 is released unexpectedly. It's also great on iPad Mini. Developers put some new features to the second game but it still has the specific gameplay of the first game. Shortly, if you enjoyed playing the first Temple Run, even if you were addicted to the game like me, you will spend hours in the second game, you can be sure about that.

Do you know Ghosts & Goblins? Because Maldita Castilla is like a fraternal twin of that retro game. It looks like an old school arcade game from 80's but it really manages to give you what other many indie games don't - variety. Every level brings you new things and gameplay. Like I said before, Maldita Castilla looks like an old game but when it comes to the controls and gameplay, it makes you feel like playing a modern game. You will run left and right, throw your knives to the enemies and dodge attacks in the most levels of the game. But this game is though and really challenges you sometimes. Believe me, you will die so many times and here is the worst thing; You are not able to save the game! So you have to finish the game for once and all. Also I really liked the details, environments look wonderful and that makes the game a pleasure to play. Controls are actually ok, but sometimes they are lacking.

Primordia... I did't have any expectations from it when I began the game. It was an old looking adventure game. Maybe I should't have expected much from a game which has 90's graphics and game mechanics. But Primordia got me back to old times with its characters and content. So, I didn't hesitate to spend my whole weekend for it.

It was a snowy day. I was at home and bored. Then I decided to go and buy a video game. I was unaware of what would happen in a minute. When I arrived there, everybody was astounded and watching a video game. Of course I got curious and walked a few steps forward to see what they were watching. Then I got shocked. What was that!? There was a man in the game and he was moving like a real person! I said to shop owner that I had wanted to buy this game immediately. He smiled and said that I had needed 1 mb RAM to play this game. At the same day, I persuaded my parents to buy a RAM, and then, I started to play one of the best games of my life.

The first 20 minutes after I had finished "Heavy Rain", I stood still where I was. Heavy Rain was a terrific game for me, even more than a game. That's why I'm looking forward to play Beyond: Two Souls. I really respect David Cage, that's another reason for this. In my opinion, Beyond: Two Souls is a game that is impossible to be a disappointment. But I can't say the same things for The Last of Us. Most of the peope are suspicious about it. Why Console Gaming Is Getting More Popular?

Playing video games is an entertaining activity for most of the people. There are many hardcore gamers who use all gaming platforms. We know there are two opponents in gaming world; console players and PC players. Whether be a professional gamer or just play games in your free times for fun, everybody is good at a platform of gaming. Classic Games: Nocturne

After the disappointment of Clive Baker's Jericho, I searched my archives to find a scary video game and I saw Nocturne. It's a horror game which was released in 1999 and looks like Resident Evil(In my opinion, it's scarier than Resident Evil). In 1999, horror games were very popular by the effect of Resident Evil. Many of them looked same and we've already forgotten some of them. But Nocturne is not one of them. It's a high quality game that you can play even today with pleasure. Game atmosphere really takes you in. It makes you feel like something could happen anytime. Also there is a sign on the game's box that tells you not to play the game if you have a weak heart.

Game begins at the beginning of 20th century. The main character is a cool looking agent named "Stranger". He works for a secret organization named Spookhouse that investigate paranormal events and murders. Game has 4 parts and all that parts are very interesting and different from each other. You fight against many enemies such as werewolves, vampires, zombies and demons. All of them are designed very well.

There are some books that you read again and again. And everytime you read, you notice something different that you couldn't before. BioWare's RPG, a legend game, Baldur's Gate is that kind of a game. You can't actually finish it even though you play it many times. Finally, that classic modified role playing game is released. Intro movie is not changed but it's good to return that lands.

It's Enhanced Edition of a 14 years old game, of course gamers have some expectations. It makes you feel like you play a new version of the game with new graphics(I think it's normal to expect that after playing the Metal Gear Solid HD. But I was disappointed when I entered the graphic settings. Because there is no option but Full Screen. When you enter the game, you won't see any soft animation or different background. Only changes about graphics are higher definition textures, a better resolution that provides a wider field of view and better spell effects.

What Is Beta and Alpha Game Testing?

I've told you about video game testing before. If you play your cards right, game testing could be a serious job. But of course you won't start your game testing job as a master. You will probably be a beta game tester if it's your first job in the game industry. Ok, but what are beta and alpha game testings? What's the difference between them?

As a beta game tester, you will get paid to test games that are near the completion. But if it's a public beta test for online games, you don't even get paid to test them. Also you might not even keep the game in some public tests. And of course as a beta tester, you will get paid maybe less than 10$ an hour. You should improve you reputation and experience to be able to get paid higher and to test video games for a living. But be willing to work for cheap in your first testing job. It will be your first step into the game industry.

So who is an "Alpha Tester"? Alpha gamers play and test the games that aren't fully developed. Developers hire alpha testers when they make the first playable version of their game. Alpha video game testers are more important people in video game testing industry than beta testers. They are more involved in the video game testing and of course they get paid much more.
