It's time to meet Vaas
I have been searching for every news, previews, videos about Far Cry 3 for a long time. Finally, when calendars show us 30th November the waiting will end and Far Cry 3 will be released! In this preview, I will share informations about Far Cry 3's tribes, crafting system and much more. Let's start!
My name is Brody, Jason Brody
Who are you going to control in the game: Jason Brody. And what is your purpose as Jason Brody: To escape from the island that was controlled by Vaas. But how are you supposed to do that: By trying everything!!We are free to examine the island in Far Cry 3 and sometimes you will need to visit pirates' territories. There will be spesific flags for every territory to tell us whose area this is. If you want you will be able to take control of this territories. And the Rakyat tribe will help you doing this.
There will be 3 ways to do that; Stealth, attacking from a distance or getting help from the tribe. With every territory that you captured, you will gain experience points to have new skills like stealth kill, running and then sliding and much more.
There are smaller islands around the main island and you can go these islands by using a boat or swimming.
What about crafting system
As you take control of territories, the Rakyat tribe give you some useful advices and secrets about surviving on the island. This is the basic of the crafting system. You can collect some flowers and plants on the island and bring them to the tribe, so the sage of the tribe gives you some useful potions like healing potions.
What about graphics? I should say that PC version of Far Cry 3 will have better graphics than console version. Of course PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will have good graphics but when we think about shadows, lighting effects and other details, PC version will be one step ahead.
I don't know what your opinion is but I prefer PC for FPS games. Not for graphics, for playability. What about you? Which platform do you prefer for FPS games?
Very short time left to stop the madness of Vaas. See you in the review of Far Cry 3!
